Scott Robinson

Founder and
Chief Executive Officer

Scott has over 30 years of experience in the actuarial sector, previously as Operational Director of Towers Watson’s UK Life Risk and Consulting business. His expertise includes Solvency II and financial reporting processes, strategic advice, new business pricing and profitability, as well as M&A. He has dealt with a wide range of insurance businesses, including with-profits, protection, savings, and annuities. Currently, he holds the positions of Chief Actuary and With-Profits Actuary at several prominent insurers. 

Martin Sher

Chief Operating Officer

Martin leads the development of our evo-insight technology platform. He also has over 30 years’ experience in the insurance industry and has a wealth of knowledge. Martin’s primary focus has been on developing specialised actuarial software and tools, as well as introducing a range of innovative technology products to the market. Notable among these are the MoSes (now RiskAgility FM) actuarial projection system and the RiskReporter Solvency II reporting system. 

Dan Wainwright

Commercial Director

Dan has been active in the life insurance industry for over 20 years. During that time, he has led technology implementations, conducted process reviews, and negotiated outsourcing agreements with major clients in the UK and overseas. His previous specialism has been in technology-driven finance transformation, where he focused on understanding the unique requirements of each client and developing tailored solutions to address them. He now applies that experience across all areas of Zenith’s business to ensure we deliver what our clients need.

Claire Farrelly

Client Development Director

Claire has held a series of senior leadership roles within professional services firms. She brings over three decades’ worth of experience to Zenith and has developed her expertise with a diverse array of insurers, both life and non-life. Although currently based in the UK, Claire’s professional journey has taken her across Europe, Asia, and the US. She now leads on client development, strategic initiatives and relationship management. In this role she holds responsibility for our relationship with several major insurers.

Gemma Stonehouse

Senior Actuary and Head of Consulting

Gemma is an experienced actuary and currently heads our consulting team. Her diverse portfolio spans various areas including M&A, ORSA, stress and scenario testing as well as product development, detailed experience/profitability analysis and review work for outsourced clients and others. In her present role, Gemma leads teams in developing strategic reporting capabilities and oversees with-profits and non-profit reporting teams. She leads large consulting projects and has overall responsibility for all consulting work.

James Harrison

Senior Actuary

James brings a wealth of knowledge to the industry. For the past 20 years he has built up extensive experience gained in activities such as life consulting, financial and solvency reporting, and capital management. He was previously Chief Actuary of Vitality Life with responsibility for IFRS 17 implementation and played a pivotal role in steering ALM and hedging strategy. In his current role he is responsible for ensuring all work at Zenith is of the highest quality and meets all technical requirements. He also leads a number of our larger projects.

Will Davies

Malta Leader and Consulting Actuary

Will is a Chartered Actuary (Fellow) and brings a wealth of experience with him, particularly in general and health insurance. His expertise lies in supporting firms who have actuarial challenges while being mindful of the wider business context. Will constructs data structures and models to tackle complex insurance-related problems concerning pricing, portfolio optimisation and business planning. He is experienced in reserving, capital management and Solvency II and has helped draft guidance for actuaries concerning climate change.
